Effective Date: March 20, 2026
Organizers: The Omen Agency & C&B Entertainment Productions
By registering for and participating in the "Show Up To Blow Up" (SU2BU) talent showcase (the "Competition"), you (the "Participant") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully before submitting your registration fee.
1.1. The Competition is open to independent music artists, groups, and bands.
1.2. Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of registration. Participants under the age of eighteen (18) must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian to participate.
1.3. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of The Omen Agency, C&B Entertainment Productions, and designated judges are not eligible to compete.
2.1. Entry Fees: The standard entry fee is $200.00 USD, payable online via the official SU2BU registration portal (Tally/Stripe). A premium walk-up registration fee of $250.00 USD applies to Participants registering in person on the day of live auditions.
2.2. Non-Refundable: All registration fees are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to withdrawal from the Competition, failure to attend live auditions, or failure to advance to the Grand Finale.
2.3. Registration is not considered complete until full payment is successfully processed and the Participant receives a confirmation receipt.
Participants may enter the Competition via one of two paths:
3.1. Path A (Digital Online Submission): Participants must upload a one-minute performance video to YouTube and submit the public link via the registration portal. Participants are responsible for driving their fanbase to the SU2BU platform to participate in digital voting.
3.2. Path B (Live Audition): Participants must attend a live, in-person audition at DRMM Hall in Detroit, MI, on their selected date (May 14 or May 21, 2026). Participants must arrive on time; failure to do so may result in forfeiture of their audition slot without a refund.
4.1. Selection of Finalists: The Top 10 Finalists will be selected based on a combination of online digital voting metrics (for Path A), live audition performance quality, and the discretion of the SU2BU judging panel.
4.2. Grand Finale Voting: At the Grand Finale (June 18, 2026), the winner will be determined by a weighted combination of live crowd reaction (measured via the DCL voting platform) and the scores of the official judge's panel.
4.3. Final Decisions: All decisions made by the SU2BU judges and Organizers are final, binding, and not subject to appeal.
5.1. Participants selected as Top 10 Finalists will be provided with a designated allotment of physical general admission tickets for the Grand Finale at DRMM Hall.
5.2. Finalists are permitted to sell these tickets to their fanbase to recoup their initial registration fee and generate personal profit.
5.3. Finalists are expected to actively promote the Grand Finale. Failure to communicate with Organizers or participate in promotional activities may result in disqualification and replacement by an alternate act.
6.1. The prize tiers are as follows:
6.2. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash value.
6.3. Organizers reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value should the original prize become unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.
7.1. Original Music: Participants retain full ownership of the original music, lyrics, and backing tracks they perform. By performing, Participants warrant that they have the legal right to perform the material and that it does not infringe upon the copyrights of any third party.
7.2. Name and Likeness: By registering, Participants grant The Omen Agency and C&B Entertainment Productions a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use their name, stage name, image, likeness, voice, and biography for promotional, marketing, and advertising purposes related to SU2BU.
7.3. Content Capture: Participants agree that Organizers will film, photograph, and record the live auditions and the Grand Finale. Organizers retain full ownership of these specific media recordings (the "reality narrative" content) and may distribute, broadcast, or monetize this footage across any media platform in perpetuity without additional compensation to the Participant.
8.1. Participants must conduct themselves professionally at all times.
8.2. Use of extreme profanity, hate speech, or promotion of violence during performances is subject to immediate disqualification at the Organizers' discretion.
8.3. Any physical altercation, harassment of staff, judges, other contestants, or venue damage at DRMM Hall will result in immediate removal by security, disqualification, and potential legal action.
9.1. By participating, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless The Omen Agency, C&B Entertainment Productions, DRMM Hall, and their respective officers, employees, sponsors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, injuries, or losses arising out of your participation in the Competition, travel to or from events, or acceptance of any prize.
9.2. Organizers are not responsible for technical failures, website crashes, or issues with the Stripe/Tally platforms that may delay registration or voting.
10.1. Organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition or alter the dates (including utilizing the June 25th contingency date for the Finale) due to circumstances beyond their control (e.g., severe weather, venue issues, acts of God).
10.2. Organizers reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of major changes via the email provided during registration.
By clicking "I Agree" on the SU2BU registration form, or by submitting payment for the registration fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined above.
